Maintenance Engineer

Position: Housing Maintenance Engineer
About the Role We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Handyman to join our team and help maintain high-quality homes for our residents. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same youll be carrying out a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks across our housing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities Carry out repairs and maintenance in kitchens and bathrooms Install and maintain fire doors to safety standards Perform carpentry, plumbing, and electrical tasks Complete painting and decorating projects to a high finish Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure resident satisfaction Work independently and as part of a team to deliver excellent service About You Proven experience in property maintenance or a similar role Skilled in multiple trades: carpentry, plumbing, electrics, painting & decorating Knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance standards Ability to work efficiently, prioritise tasks, and maintain attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Clean Driving Licence
