We are currently recruiting a dynamic and skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our state-of-the-art main dealer team in Bridgend. The Rewards- Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per year (A negotiable flat basic rate tailored strictly to your level of experience).

YourRole
As a vital Vehicle Technician within our professional Bridgend workshop, you will:
- Achieve technical excellence by carrying out routine vehicle servicing, safety diagnostics, and mechanical repairs to approved manufacturer standards.
- Systematically troubleshoot complex vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic equipment, laptop software, and specialized digital interfaces.
- Complete all repair orders with high technical precision, maintaining precise digital service logs and keeping accurate repair records.
- Work efficiently as an independent technical professional while collaborating effectively with the wider workshop team and mentoring junior staff.
- Qualifications: Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent certification).
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on workshop experience is preferred. Main dealer experience is ideal, though we are welcoming of confident technicians stepping up from an independent garage background.
- Key Strengths: Strong technical knowledge, a robust work ethic, solid IT literacy, and excellent daily communication skills.
- Licensing: A full UK driving licence is required. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not essential.
- Vetting: The successful candidate will complete a standard basic DBS check, with all disclosure expenses covered fully by the employer.
Based in Bridgend, our facility is easily accessible for commuters from Porthcawl, Port Talbot, Neath, Cardiff, Cowbridge, Maesteg, and surrounding South Wales areas.
