We are hiring an experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our highly respected team in Bridgend. Your RoleAs a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Bridgend facility, you will:
- Carry out routine inspections
, vehicle servicing, and general mechanical repairs across a wide range of makes and models. - Perform diagnostic tests and systematic troubleshooting to efficiently locate and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Maintain high standards of efficiency and accuracy to deliver clean "first-time fix" results.
- Collaborate with the workshop team to maintain a smooth repair flow and uphold health and safety guidelines.
- Qualifications &
Experience:
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time‑served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. Proven track record in a professional garage environment. F‑Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it). - Licensing: Full UK driving licence is essential.
An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required. - Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools for daily workshop repair tasks. Strong attention to detail, reliable diagnostic skills, and a practical problem‑solving mindset.
Situated in Bridgend, our modern facility offers a quick and straightforward daily commute for candidates travelling from Cardiff, Port Talbot, Swansea, Pencoed, Maesteg, Cowbridge, Pontypridd, and surrounding South Wales areas.
