Position: Vehicle Technician / Service Specialist Workshop

We are hiring an experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our highly respected team in Bridgend. Your Role

As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Bridgend facility, you will:

  • Carry out routine inspections
    , vehicle servicing, and general mechanical repairs across a wide range of makes and models.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and systematic troubleshooting to efficiently locate and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Maintain high standards of efficiency and accuracy to deliver clean "first-time fix" results.
  • Collaborate with the workshop team to maintain a smooth repair flow and uphold health and safety guidelines.
What You Need
  • Qualifications &

    Experience:

    NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time‑served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. Proven track record in a professional garage environment. F‑Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
  • Licensing: Full UK driving licence is essential.
    An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
  • Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools for daily workshop repair tasks. Strong attention to detail, reliable diagnostic skills, and a practical problem‑solving mindset.
