Based in Bridgend, we are a leading, well-established service and repair centre specializing in comprehensive vehicle maintenance, routine servicing, and complex mechanical repairs. As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Bridgend team, you will:

• Carry out routine inspections
  , vehicle servicing, brake overhauls, clutch replacements, timing belts, and general mechanical repairs across various makes and models.
• Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics and systematic troubleshooting to efficiently locate and resolve technical, mechanical, and electrical faults.
• Maintain high standards of efficiency and accuracy to deliver clean "first-time fix" results and maintain workshop productivity.
• Complete digital health checks and report repair requirements clearly to the service team.
• Collaborate closely with workshop colleagues to maintain a smooth repair flow and uphold health and safety guidelines.

• Qualifications &
  
  Experience:
  
  NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair with a proven track record in a professional workshop environment. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
• Licensing: Full UK driving licence is essential.
  An active MOT Tester licence (Class 4/7) is preferred but not required.
• Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools for daily repair tasks. Strong diagnostic skills, high attention to detail, and a practical problem-solving attitude.
