Pay & Benefits
- Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 basic per annum (tailored to technical experience) | £35,000 – £45,000 overall package
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Guaranteed weekday stability with optional weekend overtime to boost earnings)

Based in Bridgend, we are a leading, well-established service and repair centre specializing in comprehensive vehicle maintenance, routine servicing, and complex mechanical repairs. We reject chaotic workshop environments in favor of structured, organized, and supportive operations where technicians have the tools, space, and backing to deliver high-quality work.
Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our highly respected team in Bridgend. You will perform routine inspections, vehicle servicing, general repairs, diagnostic troubleshooting, and maintain high standards to consistently achieve "first-time fix" results.
Requirements- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent proven track record as a Technician or Mechanic)
- Full UK driving licence & own hand tools
- Active MOT Tester licence is preferred, but not essential
- F-Gas certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain it)
- Strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and a practical problem-solving mindset
- Base: Bridgend (Clean, modern, and safe facility)
- Road Links: Directly accessible via major South Wales transport corridors, offering fast and straightforward daily commutes
- Public Transport: Well connected by local regional rail and bus services into Bridgend
- Commutable From: Cardiff, Port Talbot, Swansea, Pencoed, Maesteg, Cowbridge, Pontypridd, and surrounding South Wales areas
