AVP​/Senior Accountant of Management

Seeking a 5-7 year candidate from Private Equity Fund, Asset Management, or Financial Services.

• Assist the Controller with day-to-day management company accounting, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close processes.
• Support preparation of management company financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, including variance analysis.
• Support Controller in maintaining and reconciling intercompany allocations and expense-sharing arrangements among management company entities.
• Assist with payroll-adjacent and compensation administration tasks, including preparation of compensation statements and support for benefits and retirement plan administration.
• Support tax compliance work streams in coordination with the firm's external tax advisors, including gathering supporting schedules and documentation for partnership tax filings, PTET, and related state and local tax matters.
• Assist with the preparation of supporting schedules and documentation for internal financial reviews and presentations to firm leadership.
• Help maintain and improve desk procedures and internal controls documentation for management company accounting processes.
• Assist with data extraction, reconciliation, and reporting using the firm's ERP system (Net Suite) and related tools.
• Assist with systems implementations and other automation and AI driven initiatives with the Accounting and Finance function.
