The Connecticut Workers' Compensation Commission is currently accepting applications for multiple Office Assistant positions.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
* Office/On-Site.
* Monday - Friday.
* First Shift, 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM.
* Permanent, Full Time schedule (40 hours/week).
* Applicants are advised to select all locations on the application in which they have an interest. This recruitment will be used to fill vacancies in this job class within the agency, which may be located in any one of the eight district offices.
THE ROLE
The Office Assistant position will work within the agency on a variety of clerical tasks to help the agency meet its mission and statutory obligations. The selected candidate will work with employees from other state agencies, claimants, attorneys, and insurance representatives on processing functions. They will determine if incoming administrative and legal forms and correspondence are accurate, complete, and conform to the Connecticut Workers' Compensation Act.
ABOUT US
The Workers' Compensation Commission (WCC) administers the workers' compensation laws of the State of Connecticut with the ultimate goal of ensuring that workers injured on the job receive prompt payment of wage loss benefits and appropriate medical treatment. To this end, the Commission approves voluntary agreements, adjudicates disputes, issues findings and awards, hears and rules on appeals, and closes out pending cases through full and final stipulated agreements.
