- Pay range: $36 to $38 hourly
- Lead the estimating department, ensuring estimates are accurate and consistent aligning with project scope, specifications, and budget objectives.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, executives, and cross-functional teams to validate assumptions, identify risks, and refine pricing strategies.
- Provide strategic input on project pursuits, including bid approach, cost positioning, and value engineering opportunities to enhance competitiveness and profitability.
- Analyze historical data, market trends, and subcontractor/vendor pricing to develop informed, data-driven estimates.
- Mentor and guide junior estimators, reviewing their work to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to company standards.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of bids, ensuring completeness, compliance, and alignment with company objectives.
- Identify potential cost risks and opportunities early in the estimating process and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred
- Extensive estimating experience within the construction industry
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Full-time Monday - Friday (8 hrs./day, 40 hrs./week)
- May be flexible within core office hours (6 AM – 5 PM)
- Overtime is available
