Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

Yonkers Contracting Company is seeking a qualified Project Engineer with 4-8+ years of relevant experience.

• Support project managers in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Assist in preparing construction documents, plans, and specifications
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports
• Monitor project costs and assist with budget control
• Review and evaluate subcontractor invoices
• Identify project risks and support development of mitigation strategies
• Assist in resolving construction-related conflicts and field issues

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering, or construction management
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
• Proven ability to work effectively within a project team
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
