- Deliver comprehensive math instruction for 7th and 8th grade students, emphasizing the development of critical thinking, algebraic reasoning, and real-world problem-solving skills.
- Develop and implement engaging, standards-based lesson plans and assessments that effectively measure student proficiency and mathematical growth.
- Manage all aspects of classroom instruction, utilizing student data to create differentiated lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Participate in grade-level meetings and partner with families to support student success in a middle school environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
- Valid Connecticut Teaching Certification with an appropriate Math endorsement(Preferred)
- Non-certified Teachers - Must have a minimum of 12 credits in mathematics and provide a copy of their college transcript
- 1–2 years of teaching experience in the subject area, preferably within grades 6–12
- Top Compensation:
Earn $37.20 - $40.30
Per Hour, based on your experience and qualifications as a Math Teacher, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives. - Generous Benefits:
