Position: INTERNAL ONLY--Summer School Early Reading Success (ERS) Paraprofessional

Early Reading Success Program

(Pay Rate: $20/per hour)

The 2026 Bridgeport Public Schools’ Early Reading Success Program will provide intensive accelerated assistance in reading for students in Grades K-3 who are identified as being at risk.

  • Marin
  • Roosevelt
  • Tisdale
  • Waltersville
ERS Paraprofessionals

Paraprofessionals will be required to have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree, the equivalent of 60 credits, or have successfully completed the Para-Pro assessment exam.

Summer School Program Information Work Hours

8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Training Date

TBD (Prior to end of school year)

Summer School Dates
  • Monday‑Thursday June 29‑July 2, 2026
  • Monday‑Thursday July 6‑9, 2026
  • Monday‑Thursday July 13‑16, 2026
  • Monday‑Thursday July 20‑23, 2026
