Job SummaryThe Digital Navigator supports adult learners in developing essential digital literacy skills necessary for academic success, employment, and daily life. This role provides direct instruction, individualized support, and classroom-based assistance, while also supporting staff through professional learning. The Digital Navigator collaborates with program staff and community partners to expand access to digital learning opportunities, credentials, and career pathways.
Digital Literacy Instruction & Student Support- Provide direct instruction using a digital literacy curriculum.
- Support students in computer skills, internet use, communication, and online safety.
- Deliver individualized and small-group support based on student needs.
- Help students apply skills to academic and workforce goals.
- Provide classroom (push-in) support to students and teachers.
- Assist with use of educational technology and digital platforms.
- Support integration of digital tools into instruction.
- Provide training and support to staff on digital tools and instructional strategies.
- Model effective use of technology in teaching and learning.
- Support development of staff digital skills.
- Support implementation of a digital learning plan.
- Assess student and program needs to guide services.
- Support continuous improvement efforts.
- Identify in‑demand digital skills aligned to workforce needs.
- Support access to certifications and credentialing opportunities.
- Assist students in preparing for employment pathways.
- Collaborate with community organizations and workforce partners.
- Support access to digital learning and career resources.
- Coordinate with partners to expand opportunities for students.
- Track student participation and outcomes.
- Support retention and engagement strategies.
- Maintain accurate program records.
- Associate’s degree required;
Bachelor’s preferred. - Experience in digital literacy, education, or workforce development.
- Strong technology and communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse adult learners.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
