At Catapult Learning, we provide educational solutions that generate academic achievement and better life outcomes for students. This part‑time Early Literacy Tutor position will begin in Fall 2026 and will be based in Thompson, CT.
OverviewAs an Early Literacy Tutor (6‑9 Math), you will customize and deliver lessons to students aged 6‑9, using data to meet each student’s needs. You will foster ownership and critical thinking, maintain accurate records, and embrace ongoing training and coaching.
Responsibilities- Differentiate instruction and deliver lessons tailored to individual student needs.
- Engage students, fostering ownership, critical thinking, and clear routines.
- Grow professionally through training, coaching, and feedback.
- Track progress by maintaining accurate student and academic records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Opportunities for professional development and advancement.
- Paid teacher training, tuition reimbursement, and credentialing support.
- Curated instructional toolkits that shorten the path to effective lessons.
- Flexible scheduling: 1:1 or small group instruction suitable for new, experienced, or returning teachers.

- 4‑year degree and some work experience with children.
- Completion of an FBI/BCI background check.
- Teaching experience preferred.

- Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.
USD $35.00 per hour.
