PART-TIME HOURLY POSITION

ATTENDANCE MONITOR

DUNBAR SCHOOL

$25 PER HOUR/15 HOURS A WEEK/34 WEEKS

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Monitor student attendance and determine students who are at risk of becoming chronically absent.

* Prepare data reports

* Meet regularly with school personnel to discuss reports and concerns.

* Maintain accurate detailed records pertaining to student absences: reasons, contact with parent/guardian etc.

* Attend meetings and trainings as appropriate.

* Conduct home visits where necessary

* Maintain contact with families of students with attendance concerns.

* Enforce the importance of good attendance with the student and their families.

* Comply with Child Find requirements.

* Any other duties assigned by the administration as necessary
