Tact Staff Education is seeking a part-time 1:1 Paraprofessional to support a 7th grade student in a school setting in Bridgeport. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a consistent, flexible weekday schedule while making a meaningful difference in a student's academic and social development.

Location: Bridgeport, CT
Position: 1:1 Paraprofessional
Grade Level: 7th Grade
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 2 hours per day
Employment Type: Part-Time Contract
Start Date: ASAP

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a 7th grade student
• Assist with classroom participation, academic activities, and daily routines
• Help reinforce positive behaviors and encourage student independence
• Support the student with transitions and engagement throughout the school day
• Work collaboratively with the classroom teacher and school staff
• Follow student-specific strategies and support plans as directed by the school team
• Maintain a positive, patient, and supportive approach

• Monday–Friday
• Approximately 2 hours per day
• Flexible daily schedule based on the student's school schedule

• Previous experience working with children or students preferred
• Experience as a paraprofessional, teacher assistant, behavioral aide, or 1:1 aide is a plus
• Experience supporting students with disabilities or behavioral needs is helpful
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, patient, and comfortable working one-on-one with a middle school student
