Salary: $150,000 - $210,000 per year

Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform and manage engineering tasks including technical analysis, evaluations, field investigations, design reviews, and reporting.
  • Manage and oversee Construction Materials Testing/Special Inspections projects for both private and public sector clients.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to schedules and standards.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and technical guidance to junior engineers and field staff.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across disciplines to support multi‑discipline project delivery.
  • Prepare and review proposals, engineering reports, and technical documentation.
  • Support business development by maintaining client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
  • Participate in jobsite visits, construction support tasks, and coordination with contractors and clients.
Required Attributes
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or related engineering degree.
  • Professional Engineering License or the ability to obtain a Professional Engineer License within 6 months of start date.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation.
  • Technical background and experience with various geotechnical topics such as shallow/deep foundation systems, retaining walls, infiltration testing, compaction control, and soil classification.
  • Experience with construction inspections related to concrete, reinforced concrete, soil compaction, shallow/deep foundation systems, and asphalt pavement.
  • Ability to mentor junior staff.
