A Quality Engineering Intern is responsible for assisting the determination of production standards for aerospace components by working with quality control systems and establishing product requirement rules. Their duties include learning and enhancing product quality and quality systems.
Duties- Working with the Quality, Engineering and Operations staff
- Determining quality improvement factors of each product and process
- Evaluating methods to inspect, test and evaluate aspects of manufacturing processes, products and equipment
- Reviewing to ensure processes adhere to quality standards
- Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
- Working in accordance with deadlines for delivery of products or software
- Performing product audits to ensure process is able to produce conforming hardware
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or a related field
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
