We're looking for an experienced Lead Estimator to join our growing team in Bridgeport, CT. This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, where you'll shape project strategy, mentor talent, and play a key role in delivering successful projects across New England and beyond.

What You'll Do

+ Lead the Estimating Function:
Oversee the full estimating process, ensuring accurate, competitive, and strategic bids aligned with project goals.

+ Drive Project Strategy:
Partner with executives and project teams to define bid approaches, pricing strategies, and value engineering opportunities.

+ Analyze & Optimize:
Leverage historical data, market trends, and vendor/subcontractor insights to develop data-driven estimates.

+ Manage Risk:
Identify cost risks and opportunities early, recommending mitigation strategies to improve project outcomes.

+ Team Leadership:
Mentor and develop junior estimators while maintaining high standards of accuracy and performance.

+ Oversee Bid Execution:
Ensure timely, compliant, and complete bid submissions.

What You Bring

+ 15+ years of experience in construction estimating

+ Proven experience leading or supervising estimating teams

+ Strong knowledge of construction methods, costs, and project delivery

+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

+ Strong communication and leadership abilities

+ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field (preferred)

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position in our Bridgeport office (Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week, with overtime opportunities). Our workplace fosters open communication, inclusivity, and collaboration-where every team member's contribution is visible and valued.

This is a Permanent position based out of Bridgeport, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $170000.00/hr.
