The Senior Supervising Lead Engineer is responsible for leading electrical project engineering execution, team coordination, production planning, and technical alignment across complex construction projects. This role serves as the project subject matter expert and primary point of contact, ensuring the team is aligned with the CPM schedule, field and prefab priorities, shop and coordination workflows, and the client’s upcoming critical activities.
This position also owns communication flow across the project, supports process and procedure development, maintains job standards, monitors budget, oversees engineering issue tracking, and helps drive clear execution across internal teams and external stakeholders. The role requires someone who can combine technical depth, operational leadership, and strong communication, including the ability to provide a concise executive-level elevator pitch on job status at any time.
This is a fully on-site role based in New York, NY, and on-site presence is mandatory.

- Availability for in-person coordination, project support, and site-related responsibilities is required.
- Proven experience leading electrical engineering, BIM, or VDC project execution in construction environments.
- Strong experience aligning teams with CPM schedules, field activities, prefab priorities, shop workflows, and coordination milestones.
- Experience creating and maintaining production schedules, preferably in Smartsheet, and supporting initial critical path planning/model population.
- Experience serving as the project subject matter expert and primary point of contact for technical and operational coordination.
- Strong understanding of model quality control, including auditing Revit model health and ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Experience developing processes and procedures and maintaining project/job standards.
- Experience monitoring budget and maintaining visibility into project performance.
- Experience disseminating key information to project teams and keeping stakeholders aligned.
- Experience reviewing bulletins and RFIs, obtaining submittals, generating RFIs, and maintaining an engineering issues log.
- Ability to understand the top upcoming client activities across field, prefab, and general contractor scopes, and align the full team to support those priorities.
- Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to provide a brief and clear status update on the job.
- Experience coordinating electrical scope across field installation, prefab workflows, shop priorities, and project milestones is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on professional experience with Revit and Navisworks is required.
- Experience with Smartsheet or similar production scheduling tools is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with construction coordination, issue tracking, and document control workflows is highly valued.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent practical experience may be considered if supported by strong project leadership and technical coordination experience.
- Lead engineering execution and act as the senior technical reference for the project.

- Develop and improve project processes, procedures, and job standards.
- Monitor project budget and support disciplined project execution.
- Conduct site visits and develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Disseminate relevant project information to the team to maintain alignment and responsiveness.

- Understand the top five next client activities and align the full team to support them across field, prefab, and general contractor workflows.
