About the Role
The Revenue Reporting Supervisor will be a key member of BetMGM's growing Finance team and will be heavily involved in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial data across systems while supporting timely and compliant reporting. In this role, the Revenue Reporting Supervisor will work closely with the Revenue Accounting team, Regulatory Reporting department, Business Intelligence, and all areas of the business.
A successful candidate will exhibit a keen attention to detail with a strong emphasis on data integrity, strong finance/accounting & business instinct and the ability to work both efficiently and effectively in an ever-changing environment. Responsibilities
Oversee and review the daily financial reconciliations performed by the Revenue Audit team.
Manage and develop a team of four Accounting Associates.
Support the Revenue Director to define reporting requirements, including identifying reporting discrepancies and anomalies within datasets, investigating root causes, and assisting with implementing corrective actions.
Analyze large, complex financial datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to develop automated reports, reconciliations, and dashboards to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Work with the Data team to develop and maintain data validation procedures and audit trails.
Monitor and detect key trends, patterns and performance indicators to ensure accurate reporting and decision making.
Improve and automate existing reporting processes to enhance efficiency and data reliability.
Support audits and compliance efforts by providing detailed data analysis and documentation.
Perform ad-hoc requests for the wider finance team as required.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA preferred
Qualifications
At least 3+ years of accounting and reporting experience
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
High attention to detail with excellent problem solving and error detection skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and produce clear insights
Strong ability to analyze large datasets to detect patterns, anomalies and errors
Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake)
Ambitious self-starter, proactive and passionate about finance and business
The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 to $. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.
