Key Responsibilities Review residential appraisal reports for accuracy, compliance, and valuation supportability Conduct audits of appraisers and AMCs to identify quality concerns and performance trends Provide training and guidance to underwriters on appraisal interpretation and risk indicators
Required Qualifications Current Certified Residential or Certified General Appraiser license (active and in good standing) 5+ years of residential appraisal experience Strong knowledge of USPAP and Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac guidelines Experience in reviewing appraisal reports for compliance and valuation supportability Deep understanding of comparable selection, adjustments, and collateral risk
