Banking Services Operations Associate III - Adjustment Services

Overview:

Primary Responsibilities:

* Complete quality reviews and mailing of MICR and TRA correspondence.

* Provide phone support for internal calls.

* Provide assistance with moderate training within the department.

* Process adjustments between banks via appropriate online systems.

* Resolve routine adjustment-related problems independently and within established procedures; escalate more complex problems to management.

* Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

* Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.

* Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

* Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Required:

Associates' degree, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 2 years' higher education and/or work experience

Proven data entry skills

Proven personal computer skills

Education and Experience Preferred:

Some post-high school education

Minimum of 3 years' banking experience within an operations unit or the department

Reconciliation skills

Physical Requirements:
