Description- The CFO will oversee financial management and strategy for a nonprofit organization in Bridgepoint, CT.
- This full-time role involves directing budget management, securing funding, and ensuring financial compliance.
- The position requires strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on financial analysis and strategic planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
- Minimum of ten years progressive finance experience in a nonprofit organization
- At least three years in a similar CFO position
- Experience in nonprofit accounting, including fund and grant accounting
- Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare audits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational ability
- Experience with complex funding and revenue streams
- Proficiency in developing financial policies and procedures
- Experience with financial analysis and strategic vision planning
Knowledge of state regulations regarding cost allocations - Experience in directing audits and financial reporting
