This position is the primary point of contact for all medical malpractice intakes with extensive client interaction.

Job Responsibilities- Manage a complex, busy, and demanding case load.
- Work with sensitive subject matter.
- Be willing and able to independently manage medical records requests and review medical records.
- Research and aid in identifying potential medical expert consultants and help prepare the attorney for medical expert investigations.
- Be prepared for intellectually challenging work that demands critical thinking and sound judgment.
- Be willing and able to communicate with clients, experts, vendors, and referring attorneys, providing on-going updates.
- Have strong analytical, drafting, and proofreading skills. Attention to detail is critical.
- Be able to work independently and to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Possess strong time management and project management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines while remaining flexible to respond to frequent changes and delays.
- 2-5 years of medical malpractice experience (outside of a law firm will be considered)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams);
Adobe Acrobat;
Zoom - Experience with and/or willingness to learn and use case management software (Filevine) and other legal research tools
- Ability to interact with clients with empathy, compassion, and professionalism, especially when discussing sensitive subject matter
- Experience with settlement process and complaint drafting is highly desirable
