Safety Marking, LLC ("SMC") is seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the Road Division at SMC.
ScheduleThis is a full-time in-person position. Days and hours of work can fluctuate, work week runs Monday through Friday and hours are 40 hours per week in off-season and OT is required during the season.

- Must be able to work in the core office hours of 8:00AM – 6:00PM
- 40+ hours
- Off Season (January – March ~8 hours / 40 Hours per week)
- In Season (March – December ~10+ hours / 50+ Hours per week)

- Define project scope and objectives; ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain project plan/schedule (milestones, dependencies, critical path).
- Create and manage project budget, track costs and control expenditures.
- Allocate and manage resources (staffing, equipment, materials).
- Lead and motivate the project team; assign tasks and clarify roles/responsibilities.
- Manage stakeholder relationships; gather requirements and maintain buy-in.
- Communicate status regularly (reports, meetings, dashboards) to stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; implement contingency plans.
- Manage changes to scope, schedule, or budget through formal change control.
- Ensure quality control and that deliverables meet acceptance criteria.
- Oversee procurement and vendor/contractor management as needed.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that impede progress.
- Monitor performance against KPIs; take corrective action when required.
- Lead project closeout: finalize deliverables, document lessons learned, and release resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management preferred
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Paid holidays, and PTO. Time off begins accruing on day one
- Company wide shutdown between Christmas and New Years as well as 80 hours PTO (prorated based on hire date)
