Our Aerostructures group, based in Bridgeport, CT is dedicated to the structural assembly of our fixed-wing aircraft. Lead and manage the performance of salary and hourly manufacturing employees responsible for the manufacture and assembly of Aerostructures components.

Deliver consistent communication to the facility salary and hourly workforce to maintain a safe workplace and enforce EH&S regulations within the operation.

Identify, lead, foster and maintain LEAN principles in the manufacture of production and development Aerostructures components and assemblies.

Coordinate daily with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Management and Production Control support members on a continuous basis to ensure required support is assigned to maintain production flow in support of on-time, on budget defect free deliverables.

Coach and mentor employees in key positions to ensure that objectives are being met and ideas are being fostered throughout the shop.

Ensure that a positive employee relations position is maintained promoting teamwork and cooperation, and the Company’s management principles, policies, and programs are consistently practiced and work closely with Industrial Relationships support staff.

Identify facility / capital improvements needs and support completion of projects.

• 10+ years of management and supervisory experience
• 5-7 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably Aerospace, related disciplines
• Bachelor’s Degree at minimum for consideration
• Prior scheduling experience for aircraft assembly operations
• Prior experience in data reporting through Tableau
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• B.S./BA in operations, or a technical preferred
• Aerospace & Defense Industry experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with associates at all levels of the organization
• Strong understanding of Collective Bargaining and leading a represented workforce
• Proven track record of interpersonal skills focused on team building

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
