PWAssembly Technician; 5th Shift)(Onsite

About the Role

Join Pratt & Whitney’s assembly team in Bridgeport, WV to support the repair and overhaul of the PW800 engine line. This onsite position focuses on sub‑assembly, balancing, main assembly, and packing of engines.

• Work from manuals, service bulletins, and technical instructions.
• Use hand tools, precision measuring equipment, special tooling, and gauges.
• Coordinate parts, consumables, and non‑product material movements.
• Perform as an Assembly Technician to ensure standard work and methodologies are followed while meeting daily targets.
• Support Continuous Improvement, Quality, EH&S, and overall Operations initiatives and policies.
• Work the 5th shift (Friday–Sunday, 5pm–5am); training may begin on another shift for up to 6months.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned and report challenges to the Supervisor.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Active Powerplant license at time of hire.
• 3+ years specialized training in aviation maintenance, assembly or test of gas turbine engines or similar aircraft systems.
• Prior experience working on P&W engines.
• Knowledge of aircraft engine assembly procedures, fits and tolerances, use of precision measuring instruments and gauges, hand tools, special assembly equipment, and ability to work from drawings and specifications.
