THE WORK

Aerostructure Supervisor who will provide Supervision and oversight to a team of hourly bargaining unit employees engaged in performing diversified operations to fabricate experimental, prototype and/or production aircraft composite parts, components and assemblies  Ensure all components are completed according to blueprint requirements and delivered to the customer in a timely manner  Must be able to ensure accurate and thorough communications with key internal customers and employees

Additional Information

This position requires working the 1st shift, with occasional extended workweeks that may include Saturdays and select Sundays

* Basic Qualifications:

* Previous Manufacturing or Supervisory experience

 Previous experience with composites and fabrications

 Must be willing to support off shifts as needed

 Must hold a Bachelors degree with at least 3  years of experience, or equivalent experience combined with education

** Desired

Skills:

* Experience in working with represented employees

 Knowledge of composite production methods, procedures and problems and processes associated with complex composite aircraft components

 Advanced abilities with Microsoft Office products, SAP, Solumina

 Previous Sikorsky experience

** Work Schedules:
** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees   Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed   These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits

** Schedule for this Position:
** Non  standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
