SCA Health is looking for an Administrator to oversee operations at Surgical Center of Connecticut. The Administrator is responsible for executing the growth strategy, profit 2, and overall goal execution.
The Surgical Center of Connecticut is a premier, free‑standing, physician‑owned multi‑specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center located in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The center was newly renovated in 2014 and is fully equipped to support a wide range of outpatient surgical procedures—from endoscopy services to spine surgery—providing patients with high‑quality, lower‑cost elective care in a safe, efficient environment.
As a physician‑owned facility, the center emphasizes personalized care, streamlined processes, and a seamless patient experience. Services focus on ambulatory procedures across specialties such as endoscopy, orthopedics, spine care, and urology, supporting both patients and providers through efficient scheduling, modern surgical suites, and an attentive clinical team.
Key Roles- Clinical Quality and Patient Safety:
Champion SCAH’s HRO Journey with responsibility to ensure leaders, teams, and physicians achieve clinical excellence and drive zero harm through adoption and standardization of Clinical Quality standards. - Facility Partnership Performance:
Leads, mentors and develops a high performing facility team of clinical and operational professionals focused on clinical quality outcomes, volume growth drivers, labor efficiencies and operational excellence. - Support Teammates:
Leads, mentors and develops a high performing facility team of clinical and operational professionals focused on clinical quality outcomes, volume growth drivers, labor efficiencies and operational excellence.
- Drive Excellent Clinical Quality.
- Effectively drives and sustains a zero patient harm culture.
- Proactively collaborates with physicians to meet patient needs and exceed patient expectations.
- Effectively builds and manages a team of high‑performing clinicians to deliver excellent patient care.
