Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Catheterization Lab

Location: Bridgeport, CT

Pay: $3,428 per week
Shift: Day 4 × 10‑hour shifts with 6–9 days of call per month (4–9 “day” hours, 36‑hour total)
Contract: 13 weeks

• Perform invasive cardiac and peripheral catheterizations, including diagnostic and interventional procedures (stent implants, IABP, Impella, EKOS, Rotablator, IVUS, FFR, Penumbra, pericardiocentesis, etc.).
• Support the cardiac catheterization laboratory suite, operating Monday‑Friday 7 a.m.–5:15 p.m. and available 24/7 for emergencies.
• Provide procedural sedation and monitoring under EPIC charting system.
• Maintain cath lab equipment and supplies, including left and right heart catheterization catheters, pulmonary artery lines, and Swan‑Ganz monitors.
• Manage call coverage, including 24‑hour on‑call and weekend coverage as required.
• Communicate with hybrid OR for TAVR and Mitra Clip procedures.
• Document all procedures and patient care in EPIC.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut.
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac catheterization laboratory experience.
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS and BLS.
• Proficiency with cardiovascular catheterization techniques and procedural sedation.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule with on‑call duties.
