Yale New Haven Health -  - Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the RN, engages in selected tasks and activities to obtain and report information to assist the nurse in assessment, planning and evaluation of patient needs;
Obtains and records vital signs as ordered and/or delegated by the RN;
Performs technical duties and selected treatments, procedures and activities contributing to safe and efficient patient care;
Ensures patients are accurately identified following established policies and procedures;
Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to address patient/family needs and demonstrates cultural sensitivity;
Communicates effectively with patients, families, and staff; covers the Business Associate desk in the absence of the BA under NM or designee
