About This Role

The Graduate Nurse (GN) - Adult Psych position is ideal for recent nursing graduates seeking to provide holistic, quality nursing care under supervision while awaiting licensure. This role allows for temporary practice for up to 90 days post-graduation.

• Location: Bridgeport, CT
• Facility: St. Vincent’s Medical Center
• Schedule: Part Time, Rotating shifts

• Provide holistic, quality, and cost-effective nursing care for patients and families.
• Apply the nursing process within the context of the organization's Framework for Professional Practice.
• Practice under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse.
• Report to the Unit Manager.

Education:

• Associate degree required, Bachelor’s preferred.

Experience:

• Recent graduate of an accredited Nursing program.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Application to sit for CT RN license must be completed within 90 calendar days of graduation.
