The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Ortho Neuro unit provides direct nursing care and coordinates patient care plans in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role is ideal for compassionate nurses who thrive in a collaborative setting.

• Location: Bridgeport, CT
• Facility: St. Vincent’s Medical Center
• Department/Unit: 91010-Ortho Neuro 7
• Schedule: Part Time, Evening shift

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to assess patients' needs.
• Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel.
• Participate in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds.
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care.
• Participate in activities for professional growth and development.

• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.

• Current Connecticut RN license.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
