Job Summary:The Director of Quality provides strategic and hands-on leadership for all aspects of product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across three U.S. manufacturing facilities. This role holds full responsibility for the Quality Management System (QMS), oversees all customer and regulatory audits, and directly manages each site’s quality organization.
As a Director of Quality Assurance, You Will:- Lead and develop quality teams across three manufacturing sites, setting clear expectations and performance metrics
- Standardize quality processes while allowing flexibility for product-specific requirements
- Oversee compliance with ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, MIL-STD, and applicable product standards
- Manage the QMS, internal audits, external certifications, and corrective and preventive actions
- Serve as the senior quality contact for customer issues, audits, and corrective actions
- Oversee supplier qualification, audits, and incoming material quality performance
- Drive continuous improvement using metrics such as FPY, DPPM, COPQ, and Cpk
- Partner with Operations and Engineering to reduce variation and improve process capability
- Build a strong quality culture through coaching, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned to support operational success
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in quality management, including direct supervision of multi-site teams
- Experience in material handling, kitting, inventory control, or production support within a manufacturing environment; electrical or mechanical components preferred
- Strong background in manufacturing environments supporting electrical assemblies, power distribution, wiring systems, or related products
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, MIL-STD, UL, and NEMA compliance requirements
- Proven success leading customer and regulatory audits, managing CAPA systems, and driving process performance improvements
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence across functions and locations
- ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA, CMQ/OE) and/or Six Sigma certification strongly preferred
- Willingness to travel between manufacturing sites, customers, and suppliers up to 30–50% as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field;

Salary: $175K-$180K
