Quality Assurance Manager

Bring your aerospace quality leadership to Bridgeport, CT and help drive precision, compliance, and continuous improvement in a mission-critical manufacturing environment. In this Quality Assurance Manager opportunity, you'll lead a hands-on quality team, oversee AS9100/IA9100 compliance, and support FAA PMA and government contract requirements for rotorcraft spare parts.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Quality Assurance Manager position include:

• 5+ years of aerospace quality leadership experience, including stable job tenure and managing more than 10 employees
• Lead and develop an 11-person Quality Department, training and mentoring staff to maintain compliance
• Maintain and continually improve the AS9100/IA9100-certified Quality Management System and ensure FAA PMA requirements are met
• Perform and support internal and external audits, corrective action responses, and follow-up activities as a primary Quality representative
• Use hands-on inspection expertise covering dimensions, coatings, blueprints, tolerances, first-article reporting, rejections/rework, and in-process inspection
• Lead root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and oversee nonconforming material, MRB activity, supplier quality concerns, and customer complaints
• Partner across Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, Purchasing, and senior management to resolve quality issues and improve performance
• Maintain accurate quality records and establish meaningful performance metrics using Microsoft Office and electronic quality/ERP systems

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
