Dining Utility Associate

Follows job routine and flow chart of assigned position in relation to tasks required by the department.

Schedule:

Full-time (37.5 hrs.) - Days/Eves. Must be available to work evenings and weekends.

Education:

High School Diploma preferred, not mandatory.

Experience:

1 year minimum food service employment preferred, not mandatory.

Licensure: N/A.

• Must adhere to all Department of Public Health Food Safety and Sanitation Standards.

• Sweeps and mops floors.
• Empty garbage and recyclables in kitchen.
• Cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment.
• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes pots and pans.
• Uses commercial dish machine to wash, rinse, sanitize, and store dishes, flatware, utensils, etc.
• Transports food and supplies to remote locations in facility.
• Assists in any other phase of food service operations, as needed and as abilities and training permit.
• Follows established safety regulations, assures maintenance of all work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Performs other duties as instructed by supervisor.

A minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
