Sales Account Executive – New England Region
Job DescriptionEurofins Built Environment Testing Division is seeking a client‑facing outside sales professional to operate within the New England states. The role focuses on identifying and managing client accounts, developing business opportunities, and cultivating existing relationships in the environmental analytical services market.
This position requires frequent travel (approximately 50% of the time) within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities- Maximize market share, profitability, competitive advantage, and capacity utilization in the environmental analytical services market.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with Eurofins clients and partner with internal teams (management, operations, technical staff, project managers).
- Acquire new accounts and sustain business growth by representing Eurofins and clearly communicating services to new customers and markets.
- Identify opportunities and profitable work by following up on leads, negotiating, and closing sales.
- Serve as a customer advocate, communicating customer needs to internal stakeholders and ensuring delivery of high‑quality service.
- Meet individual revenue targets and support regional revenue quotas through effective sales planning and forecasting.
- Monitor account receivable status, resolve collection issues, and maintain accurate customer databases.
- Develop and implement account plans, including pricing strategies, Master Service Agreements, and budgetary guidance.
- Track and close leads to increase revenue, report sales activity, and document key information for decision‑making.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual issues with approval of the General Manager.
- Assist in the development of sales materials and provide market intelligence on competitors.
- Communicate opportunities for new products and services within the assigned region.
- Degree in Sciences or related field preferred but not required.
- Minimum 2–3 years of progressively successful sales experience in a service industry.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory (10–15 days per month).
- Knowledge of the environmental industry, particularly indoor air quality, USP
797, or Legionella testing. - Valid driver’s license.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with lab functions and environmental terminology is preferred.
- Self‑directed and able to work in an unstructured environment.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
- Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
Base salary: minimum $70,000/yr + commission. Benefits include comprehensive medical coverage, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid holidays, paid time off, and dental/vision options.
