Position: Field Account Manager - New York, Connecticut

As the Field Account Manager, you will be responsible for all sales results of mid-size and large accounts in a defined territory and for developing strong customer relations according to the organization's strategy for the assigned customer base. An essential part of this role is the active use of our CRM system (SFDC) to manage sales activities and customer interactions effectively, as it is the foundation of our sales framework and operational sales steering and a key enabler for achieving targets for both you and the company.

Location

The ideal candidate will be located in the field territory of New York and Connecticut.

Responsibilities
  • Promote the organization's products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range or key account to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities aligned with the overall market and growth strategy.
  • Actively use SFDC to manage and document leads, opportunities, and all customer interactions, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Analyze SFDC data for assigned customers to identify trends, generate insights, and track sales performance.
  • Drive newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace and proactively follow up on successful implementation of sales activity.
  • Assess and analyze customer needs, generate leads, respond to inquiries, and suggest appropriate products and services.
  • Develop and implement account plans and coordinate resources in line with those plans.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams to create higher market perception and strategies that gain business from an account.
  • Coordinate and participate in marketing activities in the assigned territory.
  • Frequently assess the potential of each customer and plan to realize it into business.
  • Manage and build strong customer relationships for long‑term partnership.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or engineering (higher level of education is beneficial).
  • 3+ years field sales experience, preferably laboratory or process‑based experience in Life Science.
  • Hands‑on knowledge and proactive use of SFDC and other CRM tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self‑motivated, energetic, results‑oriented, with the capacity to work independently and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Good teamwork skills and proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
  • Proven software skills, e.g. Microsoft Office.
