Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company that provides a range of analytical testing services, helping clients across multiple industries ensure product safety, authenticity, and accurate labeling.
The Sales Account Executive is an outside sales role operating within an assigned New England region. The position involves identifying and managing client accounts, cultivating relationships, and bringing in new business for Eurofins Built Environment Testing. Key technical knowledge in indoor air quality, USP
797, or Legionella testing is desirable.
The role requires frequent travel within the New England territory (approximately 50% travel).
Responsibilities- Maximize market share, profitability, competitive advantage, and capacity utilization in the environmental analytical services market.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with Eurofins clients and internal teams.
- Provide vision and acquire new accounts to sustain business growth.
- Identify opportunities, negotiate, and close deals.
- Act as the customer advocate, conveying needs to internal staff and ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Meet individual revenue targets and regional quotas.
- Develop and implement account plans detailing revenue goals and strategies.
- Maintain accurate customer databases and generate sales forecasts.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms with approval from the GM.
- Control expenses within the selling function according to company policy.
- Assist in developing sales materials and gathering competitive intelligence.
- Degree in Sciences or related field preferred but not required.
- Minimum 2‑3 years of progressively successful sales experience in a service industry.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time, including overnight travel as needed.
- Knowledge of environmental laboratory testing, especially indoor air quality.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Sales skills in prospecting, interviewing, negotiating, and closing.
- Self‑directed and able to thrive in an unstructured environment.
- Familiarity with laboratory functions and terminology is a plus.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
- Professional proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
Salary range: minimum of $70,000 per year base plus commission, benefits, PTO, and company‑matching 401(k) plan. Salary may be higher for candidates with specific environmental testing experience, especially in indoor air quality.
