The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking an Outreach Caseworker to join our Residential Supports Program (RSP) in Hartford, CT. The Outreach Caseworker provides a supportive relationship to clients in need of daily services, assisting individuals with mental illness, substance use problems and co‑occurring disorders to live in the community as independently as possible. Services are recovery‑oriented, culturally sensitive and include mental health, substance use, housing and independent living facilitation.

• Provide daily client support and maintain high commitment to program consumers.
• Support the agency philosophy and uphold professional boundaries.
• Work as a team member and adapt to crisis situations.

• Experience working with psychiatric disorders or co‑occurring populations preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable, registered & insured vehicle with an approved driving record check.
• Approved criminal background check (CORI).

Wednesday 10:00 am‑8:00 pm, Thursday 8:00 am‑6:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am‑6:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am‑8:00 pm. Days off:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.

Days on:
Sunday 10:00 am‑8:00 pm, Monday 8:00 am‑6:00 pm, Tuesday 10:00 am‑8:00 pm, Wednesday 8:00 am‑6:00 pm. Days off:
Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

Days on:
Wednesday 8:00 am‑6:00 pm, Thursday 10:00 am‑8:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am‑6:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am‑8:00 pm. Days off:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.

Pay rate is $20.00 per hour. Benefit package includes Dental, Health and Life insurance, Paid time off, earned vacation time and paid holidays.
