- Manage and mentor a group of automation developers
- Set technical direction and engineering standards

- Build integrations between the orchestration platform and surrounding systems
- Evaluate and pilot AI and agentic automation tools
- Define delivery controls for a regulated firm
- Collaborate across product, platform, service, and delivery teams to build consensus
- 10+ years in software engineering, process automation, or solution delivery
- Experience building and shipping production systems
- Experience leading engineering or automation teams
- Regularly write or review code
- Experience building workflow automation on a low-code or orchestration platform such as Appian, Pega, or Camunda
- Experience integrating workflow automation platforms with surrounding systems
Solid fundamentals in APIs, integration patterns, testing, and SDLC - Experience improving processes with demonstrable results
- Experience working in a regulated environment
- Understanding of controls and working in a matrixed organization without direct line authority
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Demonstrates expertise in managing and mentoring automation development teams while setting technical direction and engineering standards. Proficient in building and integrating workflow automation solutions on low-code platforms like Appian, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards in regulated environments.
