We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Bridgeport, Connecticut as a key member. You will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
Compensation & Benefits- Starting pay $21.94, progression to $29.92 over 4 years.
- 90‑days: $22.26
- 1‑year: $23.22
- 2‑years: $24.02
- 3‑years: $24.62
- 4‑years: $29.92
- Vacation: up to 5 days per year (5 days after 1 full year; 10 days after 2 years; 15 days after 5 years; 20 days after 10 years; 25 days after 20 years).
- Paid sick leave: 8 hours per day for full‑time; 6 hours per day for part‑time.

- Execute flawless operations by following designated routes, schedules, safety protocols, and traffic regulations.
- Provide exceptional passenger care, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides and timely disembarkation.
- Perform comprehensive pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, report maintenance issues and maintain cleanliness and safety equipment.
- Uphold company policies, seat belt enforcement, emergency readiness and regulatory compliance.
- Complete other duties as required.
- 21 years or older.
- Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and air‑brake endorsement.
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical exam if applicable.
- Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions; 100% of the job is performed outdoors, alone and in remote locations.
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances on uneven or slippery surfaces.
- Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds; lift material up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch.
- Operate in heavy traffic; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
