**** position summary:
** this position is responsible for maintaining control of valet dispatch work area to ensure guest vehicles are properly documented and promptly delivered.
** primary duties and responsibilities****:
** includes but not limited to:
* inputs guest vehicle information into cvps valet software system
* files and retrieves keys and parking tickets upon customers request
* assist guests with completing lost claim forms, as needed
** secondary duties and responsibilities:
*** assists guests with directions and property information, as needed
* assists with locating lost vehicles in valet
* maintains and organizes work area
** minimum education and qualifications:
*** high school diploma or equivalent
* one year of general clerical experience
* must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable through the company carrier
** competencies:
** incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
* good written and verbal communication skills
* good organizational and multi-tasking skills
* basic computer skills in word, excel and outlook
** training requirements:
*** thorough understanding of cvps valet software system
* smart alcohol awareness
** physical demands and work environment:
*** office work environment
* must be able to sit in front of computer screen for extended periods of time
* must be able to stand for extended periods of time
