Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

Adjunct teaching courses within Workforce Education programs. Rate of pay dependent upon education/experience.

Required Education

Associate degree and/or 2-5 years work experience in the field of study;
Bachelor's degree and/or 6-10 years work experience in the field of study and/or credentialed in the field of study;
Master's degree and/or 11-15 years work experience in the field of study and/or credentialed in the field of study;
Doctorate degree and/or 16+ years work experience in the field of study and/or credentialed in the field of study.

Required Experience

A minimum of five years working experience in the Electrical field-service, installation, and repair and hold a Journeyman or Master Electrician License.

Preferred Education

Preferred Experience

Completed a course in teaching adults or have experience in teaching/training adults from different backgrounds, ethnicity, gender, ages, and religions or supervising electrical technicians.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Teach courses in the assigned discipline. Maintain familiarity with and adhere to college policies and procedures. Maintain good rapport with students. Flexibility in schedule to teach day/evening/weekend classes. Perform other duties as assigned.
