Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000 Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits

A motivated Civil Staff Engineer for a reputable firm in the Bridgeport, WV. area.

This role offers a unique "earn-while-you-learn " mentorship environment focusing on Water Resources and Land Development. You will work directly with senior leadership to design infrastructure that shapes the local community.

Responsibilities:

• Design Support:
  Assist in the design and development of civil engineering solutions for land use and water systems.
• Project Lifecycle:
  Support senior engineers in planning, site visits, and the execution of engineering projects.
• Technical Writing:
  Prepare high-quality technical reports, permit applications, and project documentation.
• Analysis:
  Conduct research and data analysis to solve complex site-specific engineering challenges.
• Compliance:
  Ensure all project phases meet strict safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Certifications:
  
  EIT (Engineer in Training) or EI certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience:
  
  0–3 years of engineering experience (Internship experience is highly valued).
• Software:
  Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a major plus; proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
• Skills:
  
  Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment.
• Travel:
  Ability to participate in periodic local day travel to project sites.
