Overview
As a Geotechnical Engineering Project Manager at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Bridgeport, West Virginia office, you’ll deliver geotechnical solutions that shape communities and support critical development across a wide range of project sectors including real estate, oil & gas, and public infrastructure. CEC Bridgeport is part of our West Virginia operations, which includes offices in Martinsburg and Charleston.

- Manage and execute geotechnical subsurface investigations
- Coordinate and monitor field drilling and sampling operations
- Prepare boring logs and develop laboratory testing programs
- Analyze lab data and perform geotechnical design calculations
- Prepare technical reports and foundation recommendations
- Provide design input for building foundations, cut and fill slopes, retaining walls, landslide remediation, and roadway rehabilitation
- Oversee construction materials testing services, including earthwork, concrete, foundations, masonry, and pavement testing
- Supervise and mentor technical staff and field personnel
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- 5+ years of geotechnical experience, preferably in a consulting environment
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field (M.S. a plus)
- Engineer‑In‑Training (EI/EIT) required
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in West Virginia preferred
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
