Purpose of the role
MHIRJ’s network of service centers, support offices and parts depots are positioned in important aviation hubs in the U.S. The Aircraft Service Planner is responsible for supporting the planning and coordination of aircraft maintenance activities under the guidance of senior planners. Primary duties include assisting with the creation of work packages, monitoring the progress of maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, and participating in research and administrative tasks related to maintenance programs.
DailyResponsibilities
- Conduct research and provide administrative support for maintenance programs
- Input data into all systems as required
- Monitor maintenance progress and ensure it is carried out according to the plan
- Prepare and assist in analytical reviews of historical data and detailed reports
- Help with the coordination of maintenance activities across various departments
- Frequently communicate with various external customers
- Additional duties as assigned
- High School Diploma
- 1-3 years of experience in project management, planning environment in a heavy industrial or manufacturing industry; or
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a related technical field
- Familiarity with aviation regulations and safety standards
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (specifically Excel), databases and maintenance planning software
- Computer skills necessary to operate web-based applications
- Strong ability to learn aircraft systems and maintenance processes
- Ability to collaborate with various professionals (customers, co-workers, management and contractors)
- Coordination and communication skills to convey maintenance plans and schedules
- Problem-solving skills and analytical abilities to assist with planning tasks
- A & P License – preferred
