ROLE OVERVIEWWe are looking for an experienced Survey Crew Chief to join our Bridgeport, WV survey team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring a can-do attitude to every assignment, we want to hear from you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Operate Trimble survey equipment when performing field surveys
- Conduct boundary, ALTA/ACSM land title, topographic, and construction stakeout surveys
- Adhere to project deadlines and schedules when delivering survey services
- Read plans and perform accurate mathematical and geometric calculations as needed
- Take detailed field notes and accurately collect and report survey data
- Complete electronic reporting of time and project outcomes on a regular basis
Experience: 2–3 years of survey crew chief experience; crew leadership highly desired
Equipment: Skilled in the use of GPS devices, data collectors, and Trimble survey equipment
Technical knowledge: Knowledge of the principles, techniques, and practices of land surveying
Judgment: Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and show initiative
Physical ability: Ability to work outdoors in rugged terrain and varying weather conditions for extended periods
Travel & flexibility: Ability to travel to project sites; schedule flexibility including some evenings and weekends
Driver’s license: Valid driver’s license required
