Civil Project Manager - Bridgeport WV - JOB 26-00525
Salary Range: $80,000 - $130,000 Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits
A Bridgeport, West Virginia area civil engineering firm that seeks to hire a Civil Project Manager who specializes in Land Development to lead projects from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development of construction plans, permitting documents, grade line design, alignments, storm water management, and environmental controls.
- Perform and review complex design calculations to ensure all submittals meet local, state, and client engineering standards.
- Prepare detailed project cost estimates, support clients through the bidding process, and oversee construction administration.
- Collaborate with field inspection personnel and evaluate daily reports to guarantee work adheres to design intent.
- Direct end-to-end project execution, including client communications, project budgeting, and internal cross-functional team coordination.
- Guide, train, and support the professional development of junior engineers and technical staff.
- Engage in business development efforts, client meetings, proposal preparation, RFQ/RFP submissions, and strategic division planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering from an ABET- accredited institution (or related engineering degree with strong, direct experience).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Land Development civil engineering design and project delivery preferred.
- Strong proficiency in land grading, drainage/storm water design, client management, and site layout planning.
