ROLE OVERVIEW

Our Environmental team is seeking an Environmental Technician to join us in the Bridgeport, WV office. As a member of this collaborative team, you would join a group of engineers, designers, scientists, and technicians working on a wide range of projects for both public and private clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify and classify streams and wetlands
  • Perform environmental compliance and inspection
  • Support wetland assessment and delineation field efforts, collecting appropriate field data relative to vegetation, soils, and hydrology
  • Prepare reports for review
  • Assist in the preparation of other environmental regulatory compliance documents
  • Prepare and submit permit applications in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Document field observations and site conditions accurately and thoroughly
  • Prepare detailed project reports that meet company, client, and agency standards
  • Provide regular updates on project status, including milestones and deliverables
  • Contribute to the overall success of projects by collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or another related discipline
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience performing field wetland delineations is preferred
  • Overall knowledge of the permitting process, including prior experience coordinating permit applications, is highly desired
